Dinner with liberals from African countries

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of having dinner with an ALN-delegation visiting Brussels. We talked about the rule of law, democracy and human rights but most of all about gender equality. We agreed that it’s crucial that every citizen’s equal right is guaranteed no matter which background one might have. We need strong liberal voices in Africa, like the ones I met, in order to create an open, tolerant and progressive future
